51 plate, 02, 2.7 tdi sport, short wheel base silver with dark grey arches and side body bits. 100k full ticket no advisories and very tidy from the pics I've seen although payed a deposit blind as the car is in Leeds going to fetch it next week.. Was on eBay from a dealer to clear and still on at mo.

I was looking around for a mate and came across it, he wasn't that keen so I bought it as I have no land rovers now, still could be moving back to NZ but looks later rather than sooner due to a few bits and pieces.
Still keeping my trol.

Think I'm going to turn the terrano into a reliable green laner as the land rovers always let me down the day before I'm suppose to go anywhere and I'm done with play sites as I'm sick of spending every weekend repairing stuff and being towed home.

So a few mods will be in order, winch and bumper, snorkel, raised breathers, lwb rear springs and re index front torsion bars, and some BFG's.. I'm not so familiar with these as I am patrols so will need to know any upgrades that are necessary.

I'm sure help is only an ask away...

Looks a clean truck. :thumb2
There is a fabricated winch bumper on the bay at the min. I posted a link to it the other night.
Ian.

Nice. Looks good.

After you posted last time about looking I had a search for the one with 45k miles on it, or something like that. That did look nice. There was also a black one with only a few more miles on that also looked lovely.

There's some tidy looking terranos out there at the moment, good luck with it, with the lsd and size they are a great green laning vehicle :thumb2

Yes mr k we looked at a couple, blue one is very low miles at 45k but is a little shabby underneath for 2.5k and he won't budge much on price.

It's just a cheapie I don't mind scratching and its small and more importantly the wife will drive it, she won't drive the patrol and I want her to drive some lanes, like I say mate I want to get out in a reliable truck..

Ok so I didn't buy a terrano!!!! went to pick it up Saturday, oh my god what a dog, a week old mot cert and it had holes in the sills a body mount that was hanging on by a thread and the chassis was very rusty, in fact anything below the bottom of the doors was rotten, oh and I think it had been used as a kennel..

Pics looked epic, as soon as I see it when I arrived I said to the wife, I'm not buying that...

6 hours driving for nothing.....

Get em reported mate.

As for wasting 6 hours travel, well worth it for a lucky escape.

Well done. The last thing you need is grief from the better half cos you're spending days and weeks welding. There'll be others.
