Yesterday---sun shining---spanners out---set about fitting reversing sensors to beloved T2.
Decided a hole and grommet was needed in n/s corner of boot floor.
Started with pilot hole--hard going--changed drill bit for sharper one ---no better :nenau
After several attempts with upmarket twist drills began to think Terrano floors must be made of titanium----:augie

Suddenly realised drill was in reverse mode :doh

Well------I do have a bus pass :)

no but taking more water with it will help:thumb2

Drilling......................STOP

The wires feed easily up alongside or through a rubber drain type thingy rear n/s without chaffing or impeding anything.

Am I too late

Yes they do - but then your boot fills with water if you go wading as the flaps in the vents can no longer close - this then leads to water sitting in the rear corner and it rotting through - guess what I found had been done on my old maverick - removed the vents altogether and sealed em up.

Definitely not flaps, a shaped tube :thumb2 I understand that something that opens and closes should continue to be allowed to do so ;)
