Sometimes you want to read human's thoughts. Has anyone heard where it is possible to learn it? I am sorry if this question is not related to the topic.

Wow. Welcome to the forum  :lol

I guess it is possible or so they say. You would need to be a master in body language for a start and a mixture of many years experience. Aswell as learning eye movements for construction and recollection (recently did training on this)

So yes I guess it would be atleast partially possible, but usually as a response. Yon ask them a question and then look for the needed signs :thumb2

?

so I'd say no, it is only possible to make an experienced assumption based on visible and auditory reactions to external events including and not limited to height of hill, muddiness, weather and type of engine. If, for example, the driver has a he grin, you can bet his thoughts are positive and happy and he is going to have a damn good go at that muddy hill. If, further example, the same person has a grimace, pale complexion and strange smell, then he is afraid.

So although this information is not gleaned from the person mind (because that isn't possible) its the next best thing,.

good day, sir.

This is the weirdest subject ever lol, what a way to introduce yourself to the forum :lol

Albuquerque???? Have you been taking some of Walter White's Blue? (Breaking Bad for those that don't get the reference)

Well you can eliminate 50% of the population before you start:augie

Women... You have no chance at reading their minds, they don't even know what they are thinking...:lol:lol:lol

On the other hand, according to women, Men only have one thing on their mind anyway...:nenau

:lol:lol

Reading your mind

I would start off by reading some of the works by philosophers such as Voltair and Descartes and then some Freud to get a handle on the human mind.

A thorough reading on cognitive interview techniques including interviewing when guilt is uncertain would then help plus understanding body language in the culture you are interested in.

Its my view that most women tend to be more intuitive than men and form first impressions with little apparent evidence to support them but are more often right than wrong.

Men on the other hand have to deal with the Testosterone drug that fuels their waking and sleeping time!

Once you have done that you would formulate your own answer to the question. Best of luck with that !!

Well I am going to throw my two penorth in here, my experience is with animals, and I will quote 2 examples although there are more, first is a crow that I rescued from France, this bird was frightened of people as it had been mistreated and was being chased by lads in a car park where my lorry was, it jumped onto my cat walk, could not fly, I them took charge and told the lads to hop it, and surprise surprise it willingly allowed me to pick it up, anyway long story but got it home, quickly built a 12 ft cage for it, bear in mind I came home Saturday and back on a boat Sunday pm, anyway this bird knew when I was in the UK, I used to phone Maggs every night when away, (no mobiles then), and my job was always uncertain, I might be away a week or it could be 3 or more, so I used to try and surprise Maggs by saying I cannot get home this weekend telling her I was still in France when in fact I was in London on my way home, this all stopped with the arrival of "Flapper" the moment I set foot on British soil that bird went mad, I could not kid Maggs any more on that one, next is Lucy an elderly horse kept in a field next to our house, her owner Pat looked after her very well but visits although every day were dependent on what shift Pat was on as to the time of visit, needles to say Lucy waited for these visits with anticipation, but would neigh excitedly ten minutes before Pats arrival, about the time it took Pat to drive here, so my view is not only are animals extremely good a reading body language but can read minds as well, I can see no other explanation for the above, so if animals can do it so can we given the right tuition, our problem I believe is stress and anxiety interfering with this ability, that is my bit anyway, Rick
