hi,my t2 is a 99 on a t.2700td round h/lights..
can anyone tell me what ip i will have please.
i know it got fly wire throttle and no1 injector wire.
or how can i see easily.any picks of the pumps on here.thanks.
 
Hi mate mine is same year and model and its Bosch. I had the ECU out to re map it and found it to be Bosch. Not sure how you tell from looking at the pump :nenau
 
Re map works really well it goes alot better now, you can remove the ECU yourself it fairly easy. These are old style ECU's that have the e prom chips. Reprogrammed chips are soldered into your ECU. My friend has a re map business so it cost me £140 not many places do it now as the are old technology!
 
My ip has died.
Getting it recovered but am staying out with my van.
Anyone got a good working pump please at reasonable cost.
Does anyone do a fitting service.
Car is going to weeting Norfolk.
I hijacked another post,sorry,this is one I found.
On off internet,phone service as poor reception.
Found another t2 on 98 mot and I will tax it so can still be on the road.
Hope to get it on Wednesday,brother has already been to see it and listen but wants me to test drive before we commit.its 700 mot till nov 14.I think its a fair price,but buggers can't be choosers.
But my one is to good to scrap.
Recon pump is to expensive for me.I have scraped he barrel to fund another car.
 
easiest way to tell is look at the maf Hitachi = Zexel pump, Bosch = well Bosch, Rick

An update.
My brother came over towed me to my next site in mablethorpe and took me to chesterfield and i have looked at the t2 he has found me.
On starting it seams like a low battery but started smooth and idled nice.
Revs ok no smoke so looking good.
I have arranged a test drive tomorrow.
Front ns bumper damage,nsfw not bad,osfw needs changing,nsr door damage,
A few smaller scuffs,scratches but it goes.
Tommorow will tell.mot in Nov last year so once its taxed change my ins over and good to go.its first run will be 100 mls so a test for it.
Will keep you informed.
 
will be putting ip on and putting t2 back on the road then sell the worst one to get money back but it will have new mot.
 
what is ip for im going to be breaking my old retired t2 up and it has a fantastic engine and is in chesterfield

I was in chesterfield today to pick up my replacement t2 till I sort out my 99.
Teathing trouble on my replacement t2 a 98.
It has a very sencertive ignition barrel and is a bit orquared to turn on ignition and start the motor.
Get it right and its instant start,get the switch wrong ad its a pig to get the srartet to work.
Yes its got a new starter as I think they thought it was the starter motor but on investergation it is a worn barrel,key.
So I need one of these as well without the immobileiser part as I will use this one.
They have anti tamper bolts that need drilling or grinding to get the unit off.
So get in touch peeps.
 
See on the rover forums we will call the I p the in tank pump so on here I now assume you mean injector pump the one on my t2 is in good condition no leaks etc I also have the ignition barrel as well I will look in the morning and will be able to tell you the brand of pump on it
 
you do not need to change the barrel it it is just the electrical bit that is the problem, you can just change switch, not expensive either from the stealers, fiddly do, but if you do end up changing the whole barrel/switch then you can take the red chip from your old key and insert it in the new, although there are two types of key, Rick
 
got a switch on order to collect on monday from louth my nearest nissans.
41something inc but will give me a bit of discount.
I am staying at mablethorpe for a bit.
hope the switch puts it to bed.
