intermitant light

hi i have an intermitant engine sign check light coming up.
if i ease of the gas or put the clutch down rev up or anything it stays on

if i brake for 2 seconds it goes out the brakes dont even have to bite just tickle the pedal for 2 seconds it goes out

any ideas please help only happened the last 2 days after bout 80 miles continuous driving

engine malfunction light

if you look in the downloads section there is one that tells you how to read the fault codes when the light comes on.or it could be water in the fuel filter trap.

cool done the fuel filter trap, had about a thimble full of water ... wet out for 40 miles no light yet... so fingers crossed

also put some diesel magic in too


might put some egr valve cleaner spray through tomorrow as i have half a tin left from my terrano td
