Having decided it was too late to change the wheels and load up all the kit for tomorrow, decided I would do the injectors instead, and very pleased I did, got the first two out 1 & 2 and stuck them on the tester, absolutely knackered, squirting and passing loads up the leak off so the needles are well gone

Also the cracking pressure is well down, should be 2000 psi but not easy to test properly as this one was dribbling, all for this evening more tomorrow, Rick

Top work Rick,how much would you charge to test all 6 of mine from the 2.8 same as those?
 
Send them down Zac I will test them for a tenner, unless you have new washers (injector to block) then make sure you mark them 1 to 6 and keep the washers in the right places, Rick
 
OK so on with the job, here is an injector in the vice ready to be split, they are very tight

All copper washers annealed and crinkly ones cleaned, sprayed threads with copper ease and tightened to 50 ft lb, after a road test can say it certainly performs better, but still smokes, this I recon is due to the fact that all the fuel is now being injected instead of lots going past the needle, so some backing off of the fuel adjustment is called for, Rick
