Wifey was hysterical at the weekend....her laptop died with all the stuff on it she needs to run a big event in Jordan next week. But yours truly fannied about and managed to get it up again after an hour or so with the help of a few - ahem - disks then backed the important stuff up to one of my older hard drives, a piddly little 250Gb jobby with a few videos on it....

...she was so pleased she nicked the drive and told me to "just buy another and I'll claim it on expenses"....well it would be churlish to refuse wouldn't it - well wouldn't it? So Mr Amazon is sending me a shiny new Seagate 2Tb drive for all my dodgy downloads! LMAO - what a result.:):):)

Anyone else had a good freebie recently?

had a few ink tonners out the bin at work..

SOLD ebay £250 for them all

Hope "wifey" is not taking doggy videos to Jordan:augie

you're kidding? I saw them, I'm stunned!

I was too. thats why i started them off so low

As a matter of interest, if they were in the bin does that mean they were no good

nope just didnt have the printers any more. new IT boss had new ideas on what printers we should have, so all the old one went, toners went into the bin.. well a red T2 bin.. :augie

i sold a pair of wind up ramps on e-bay for £72.00, and i was paid straight away, but the guy never collected them, that was over 6 months ago. :nenau:augie

Found an old pair of binoculars in the skip outside an MOD building a couple of years back:augie:augie
So I er tidied them up and googled them. They turned out to be some WW2 german ones that were highly prized in the states for rifle range site scopes.
So I bunged them on the bay and was most pleased to receive over £600 for them :D
I went back to rummage in the skip by the way, but only found an old mattress and a bloody caravan:lol
