Many people run the TD05H with 16g compressor wheel on 4.2 patrols

Some use the 18g on the 4.2. Might be a bit too much laggy for a 2.7?

Steve welcome to the world of spiralling costs, Kinu turbo is about £500 + Import duty + vat. :naughty

its how fast you spin that turbine on the exhaust side that counts. you can have a dinner plate size compressor wheel, just dump the excess... but if the exhaust side is to big for the volume of exhaust gas, that's when you get lag

getting a bit complicated for me:confused:

I found this but like you said fez its expencive.

does this bolt straight on then?

If I went down this road + the mech pump fitting what gains can be expected?

as this would end up costing nearly 1k in total:eek:

I am being slightly dissuaded by this.
it may be back to the drawing board and having a maf and remap total £300
for extra low down grunt and an extra 30 bhp to power the 33s I want:naughty

the extra 700 would be a big chunk towards the 33s.
then theres my rock sliders I want to make and I still want to make a custom roof rack as its a right ball ache taking my ladders on and off lol..
hence my signature of needing a caravan step:lol

just do the pump and dial up the fuel then you can sell the ecu loom and electronic pump to off set the cost of other mods. just don't let it boost more then 18 psi.

A custom roof rack is what I need. I'd like one so I can climb up and walk about on it. Or maybe something that can slide off the back on runners to load and offload. :-B
Anyone on here built they're own? Photos?

I have my plans drawn up.
but as usual time and money always come into play.
I will make it eventually.
im going to extend it at the rear with a roller on so I can just lean my ladder against it and :Droll it on

I've seen ladder racks on our local council vans (transit connects) that slide off the roof to the rear and they lean the ladders on it, strap em and push the rack back on top. Must be counter balanced somehow?
