Got the 2 bolts off which hold the caliper on, seems like its anchored onto the hub???

Advice welcome please........

Cheers

dont know if the 2.7 is like an 03 but there are two bolt slidey things that rust on. I had to tap them out with a chisel. took a while and plenty of wd40

would those be the two bolts going through a rubber gaitor located top and bottom of the caliper.......... can't for the life of me seem to get this off, even taken the bearing lock rings off to try to remove the disk..............

Front pad replacement

Never had any vehicle where you need to remove a caliper to change the pads unless the slider mechanism or retaining pins have seized up.

Its much easier to change the pads by following the workshop manual instructions if you are not a competent mechanic pretty sure these are on the links on this site.

It would be great if I could download more than just the first page............ my pdf reader just won't recognise it........

So manual-less at the moment. If anyone can email me a copy, I'd be grateful.
Sorted the pads tho. Being thoroughly experienced in landrovers and not in nissan terrano's is a problem here......
