Hit and run

I left home for work today at about 13:20 and as I drove down a road that has cars parked on the road due to lack of off road parking. These cars are parked in opposite carriageway to me so as I make my way down said road I have right of way. Not according to some useless speeding t"^t of a women who thought that her gaywoo matiz would fit through the gap between my car (Astra not the beast) and the parked car that I was halfway past.
As a result her car made contact with mine and smashed the wing mirror. You can guess the rest from the title....Yep she fooooked off, she never even slowed down.
Unfortunatley I didn't get the reg number due to the fact she was speeding in the first place, my guess about 45/50mph in a 30 zone and I had no mirror left to look in and rear window was steamed up:doh.
The Police have been informed, not that they can do out as I didn't get reg:doh

Bad luck mate, I have a beat up old truck that I do not give a monkeys about, and as I am always reading the road well ahead if I come up against that sort of situation if I feel there is time I veer to the right and almost stop so forcing the on coming to stop as they now see there is absolutely no way they are going through, then I make them back up, happens 2 or 3 times a year, I am not an aggressive driver at all, pretty laid back most of the time, but all drivers have a "body language" that I can read, and when I get one that I have time to deal with I get very aggressive, and have not lost many, just my rant, driving used to be a pleasure, not any more, Rick

Yeah I was lucky to get away with just the mirror. I normally do the same Rick.
The wife's poor little Astra is starting to look a bit worse for wear, bless it. It was only a few weeks back that some eejit smashed the front bumper off during the night and did a runner and now this happens. Might have to persuade her to get a 4x4 lol

You guys will think im making this up but I swear this is true.
On Tuesday our poor little Astra was parked right outside our house for about one hour whilst it snowed and what should happen?.
Yep that's right some one has hit the car and stoved in the n/s front wing front passenger door and knocked the bloody mirror glass off.
To top this off they too drove off....Not so much as a sorry.
Now when the beast is on the road she normally parks in that spot so all though they would come off worse hitting her:naughty, she would cost more to fix than the astra (Sorry little Astra).
