Hi guys i currently have a bongo which is great, but been looking at nissan terranos.

I run my bongo on a twin tank veg oil kit,so expect you will hear some veg related post from me soon!

These wagons seem real nice!

ah welcome mate.. found your way then

like i said youll get all the info you need to make up your mind.

there are a few vigge runners on here too.. as far as I know NO ONE has twin tanks..

just pour in and go!

but DONT tell you r mate about an offer in you local shop... hell go and get it ALL!! ( you know who i mean Makeitfit )...

Welcome to the site, all good lads and lasses on here, plenty of info, you only have to ask,

friendly bunch.

Enjoy

Thanks guys!..really is a good option.

Cant belive what these things can do off road..

Not found any bad points yet!

Any ideas whats best manual or auto?

I seriously like auto, as it allows me to almost forget about the car.

Would appreciate a 'proper' diff lock though, and i find it sits a bit low too - muchos $$ to get it raised 30mm.

hes been asking me for a while.. got him here in the end though :clap

Zippy, Was going to add if you want any info ask Briggie :eek:

Then thought better not :naughty:naughty

How the hell did you influence this bloke , must of cost you more than the subs fee to get him issed up, glad to see your working for the club :thumbs :thumbs :thumbs

Only in jest zip, but couldnt resist a little wind up:clap :clap

Swings and roundabouts really.....auto a lot less tiring to drive and just as efficient, but expensive if it goes wrong, which it can do especially if its towed over-weight (towing weight is around 1200kgs lower than the manual), but then the manual needs a clutch at around £500-600 in a half-decent garage, and another £700-800 to drop and replace gearbox with a recon....you takes yer choice really.

Mazda Tippee Bongo....yes please!:D

Cheaper to buy a 'proper' terrano (T2), ground clearance comes free! :thumb2

and to add with the auto t2 it is quicker and better on fuel

bloomin heck 600 for a cluch!! and 800 for a recon gearbox!

is the auto gear box pricey too?

around £1500 for a rebuild :thumbs

But like all things, its down to how they've been treated.....personally I'd never buy an auto that has a towbar cos you never know what they've been up to. I looked at one a while ago when I bought the wifes and the blokes missus happily told me how it "easily tows a twin horsebox with two in it"......the look on his face was priceless, especially as I walked away laughing! :lol I suspect that was the last time he let her in on a viewing!

Manual it is then, prob better in snow,i like autos but manual has good points too..

Thanks for your replys chaps..

one day i maybe able to help you as iam a veg head

veg and T2 go together well.. a few of us funning on it here..

Thats great stuff, will be twin tanking i think..would miss running on a high% of veg..as i dont pay for it!
