Hi all,
just browsing other Nissan Forums and found a link to here (posted by someone who has a Y61 SWB)

Anyway, thought I'd join, as there are very few Y61 SWB's here, so its great to find a site that has modded ones.

I have an 89 GQ (only standard, haven't attacked it yet) and a 99 GU swb, which I have semi modded. Only a 3" lift, 33" tyres and a superior flex arm and drop boxes at this stage as its only the 2.8 motor so would struggle with 35's:(

Looking at a engine conversion to a TD42T but am finding it hard to get a gearbox to suit at a reasonable price, so the bigger lift etc are on the back burner for now.

Yeah, didn't realise I had to pay to get full membership, thought it would just be the trip section etc I'd miss out on.:doh

i believe you can still play about on here with limited access... if your not sure about it .

see how you get on.... you will find its well worth the small fee, no preasure

These were Denniston and Mackley Track, West Coast Sth Island, great wee play area. Was my Gu's first and only off road trip so far:eek:
 
Gee a reasonable fine day on the coast you were lucky :)
