help Wiper gone mad

Driving down the A1 tonight in torrential rain and my driver wiper stopped working ... the ball joint is shot from the motor arm , out i get and move the passenger one into the middle?? hay presto it reached over to my side and got me home, how will i go about resolving this ? does anybody have the linkage from the motor for sale
