Hey again guy
Got another question for you..the old Maverick (2.4 petrol)on M plate) is getting harder and harder to get in gear, was sure it was the clutch but ive been keeping my eye on the clutch fluid just incase, been underneath and cant see any leaks at all, however the clutch fluid if going down very slowly,i mean noticable in months not days..so its going somewhere, would a tiny leak like that be enough to cause the gears to grind a bit??,it is a pressure related thing??.When i got the motor it was dry on clutch fluid do they use fluid??,sorry for stupid questions but i havent got a clue about the system on these, hoping i can save myself the cost of a clutch here as i have checked the price of them with fitting and it aint cheap...
Bahhh just been for another look round for leaks and found the back inner tyre coverd in brake fluid so im guessing thats a popped cylinder :(
thx for reading

could be clutch fluid, YES at the back. theres " damper" pipe that runs down to the back...

take another look see if you can see where the leak is from..

zippy is right, there is a damper pipe running to the rear, mind was rotten and leaking, i replaced it with genuine nissan pipe at a cost of £43.00, then i found out you can remover the pipe or disconnect from slave cylinder, cut the end off and fit a ball bearing in hole and replace the fitting, this does away with the pipe. :thumbs:naughty
