Trouble Bleeding clutch

hey chaps, just wanted to give an update on this job. To recap, I've cut out the damper pipe and capped it off leaving only a few inches of pipe.

Had this done about two weeks now and so far its been great, infact its improved. I now have proper clutch control, where before it would just shudder and almost stall. I would say its a touch quieter, certainly a bit lighter and it feels better when driving.

A job well worth doing I think, thanks again to everyone for their help and input, :bow

I blanked mine off, and it wen't the other way.
Now have a horrible judder, and a noise from the release bearing.
Will be putting a new pipe on the first chance I get.

How weird is that, I don't understand is whole damper business, mines already been capped off :nenau

Have to say mines noisier since I blanked it off. I blanked it off about three years ago and hasnt given any problems since other than the noise. I managed to get a bolt with the correct thread, took it to an engineering company who cut it down to the correct size and even milled out the end so that it fitted and sealed inside the block on the end of the rubber hose. A nice neat job really but never been totally happy, think I should of had a new damper pipe made up.
