Some of you may remember that a few months ago I started a thread on heavy power steering on my 20 year-old Terrano, and a member (I can't rememember who, it might have been Rustic) suggested using Molyslip in the fluid reservoir.
I contacted Molyslip themselves for more information, and the following is what they suggested.

I have ordered the 50ml bottle and will be putting it in the car when I go back to Spain at the beginning of April.
I'll update this thread once I have some results, good or bad.

I used something very similar to this (think it was Redex or Wynns brand?) in my 1.6 Cavalier PS in 1996. Mainly because I strained the seals trying to loosen the pump so as to change the timing belt (anyone who did this job will still be cursing LOL). The subsequent leaks & squeaking disappeared...& stayed that way until I sold it 90K later in 2004.
