heater pipe help...

hi all

bit of a silly one took pipes off heater matrix and changed thermostat cant remember which went were please help does the pipe that next to thermostat go to top or btm of heater matrix

hope question is clear and ne 1 help soon

Hi,
Just looked under the bonet and the pipe to the right of the stat goes to the btm of the matrix pipe at the bulkhead. Hope this helps.Just a thought would yours be the same as a 98 terrano tdi.?

hi wirrallad.
dont worry if you put them the wrong way round it will blow all the sediment out of matrix and may improve heating.

you cant put them on the wrong as the hoses can only go on one way only as i had to replace both of mine a little while back

hi u seem to be able to put them top or btm at heater matrix end but i agree at other end the shape of them they only fit 1 way but its the heater end im querying
