the water dont come from your fuel, it comes from tank condensation cos the fuel back to the tank is heated, that is why it is best to try and keep it full all the time, Rick

That's cheating Pete!!!! Mines picked up from the chinese, pulled pork filtered out and you know the rest :naughty

What you using KoH?

I haven't a clue. I'm happy paying a man to scoop up the gloop , wash it through his socks and add his magic juice . THEN I buy it all tickety boo :D
That said , the Black Pearl has only been backwards and forwards a few times of late and still has very old BIO in the tank. Looks fine to me :freak3:

You're on a 96' plate and should have the 12mm fuel drain still on the tank, empty it out :augie

No fuel drain on my tank !?
Just refurbished the thing and it is now empty. Just waiting for my racing filler to arrive and replumb it . I have another mod going on :lol
All new pipes and stainless fittings to tank. Rear winch fairlead to fit inboard then it's back in with the tank.:D

Pictures of this please!!!!!

A lot of people disagree with that theory Rick, but this guy has done the maths :thumb2

Do not concur with that at all, you can prove the world is flat with numbers and we all know it is not, I have just been out to my half full 1000 ltr oil tank and lifted the lid, stuck my hand in and felt the roof, whilst it is not dripping it is damp, but it is in the barn so partly insulated from the cold that has descended on us this evening, so my statement stands, Rick

I've noticed I get condensation on the underside of my biodiesel tank lid in the insulated shed too actually :/

Exchanger is bolted to the body just below the original fuel filter bracket, I've routed the heater pipes around the back of the engine against the bulkhead and Tee'd into the original pipes just as they start to curve as they leave the top of the block to go through the bulkhead :thumb2

Excuse my disgusting engine bay, that's what happens when you off road with no rubber protectors and plastic arch inserts :lol I need to re-fit them now everything is Waxoyled
