Just fitted some headlight light bulb upgrades but when i tryed to adjust them im at a loss(1999 T2).I got the manual and looking at it i can figure out how to adjust the alignment on them but cant see where on the lights themself. When driving at night i need to lower them to the lowest setting from inside the car or else i blind people.

Best thing would be to take it to a gargae & have them set up correctly but remember to set the leveler switch to 0:thumb2

If the upgrade is one of those HID Xenon kit's that are available you may struggle to align them anyway. The headlamp units were not designed for that type of light so the reflector and lens pattern just spread the light and doesn't focus it. I think they are illegal as well so may not pass MOT's.

Might be another type of upgrade so I could be barking up the wrong tree.

All i did was upgrade the bulbs to night breaker plus one's

make sure they are seated properly in the holder, i had the same issue :doh they can sit just slightly wrong and you dont notice til you see the beam when the lights are on

So right, there are so many drivers on the road that fit it themselves, and don't check it, then wonder why people flash them.

It is worse on the motorway when they are behind you.

You need to rotate the lamp in the holder, and it is clear when it locates, but by the time you have fitted the clip, it could have moved off centre.

I fitted night breakers to mine, exactly the same light pattern, but brighter.

I have a couple of tape marks on my garage wall, inside, so I know if the alignment changes.
