evening all just to say i disconnected the rear h/brake cable from the front one today but couldnt figure out how to get it out of the hub there wasnt a nut to undo so i presume the outer casing was just rusted itself to the hub but anyhows i managed to undo the front and the clamps along the body and raise it above the car in situ , wedged it thriough the rear door handle to hold it there and slowly poured some oil through the top waitng for it to reach the bottom a bit of jiggleing later and i now have a easy pull through cable that can be pulled by hand ,the only problem is that i ut a bit too much oil in the cable and so had to wait a while before refitting drums as oil was still seaping out of the bottom of the cable and would if im not mistaken end up in the drum and on shoes so i waited a few hours ,think i got the last of it but this works and now cable operating as it should ,fingers crossed whats next .:clap
