Hi Darwin
Get a Co2 test done it will tell you if you have exhaust gases in the cooling system.
Or have you got any "mayonaise" in the oil filler cap or on the dipstick. if so it suggests that you are getting coolant in the oil and that is generally the head gasket.

white smoke is water, lote is head gasket. you gotta think where water can get into the exhaust, and really head gasket is it really. it must be a fairly small hole from water gallery to a cylinder. it will of course get worse, and then ...mayo. get some k seal or something first. follow the instructions and you should be ok if it is small still. quite a good product, but you cant use antifreeze in the cooling system.

It would be very unusual for it to be the head.....still waiting for somone say they've actually had such a thing happen.
Common as muck occurrence on those L**d R***r engines of course but remember mobybone this is the same block and head fitted to earlier London taxis and therefore doing astronomical mileages (500-600k) without major issues. In fact there are now companies offering to convert this same engine over to spark ignition (and I think LPG, can't recall exactly) for about five grand....they normally outlast the vehicle from what I can see. :thumbs
