so if we were to consider another peak district trip dates to be arranged later and not to close to wales trip so people could get to both

what lanes would be on the list
i have copyed below the list from last time to see what folks think
Houndkirk road
Hurstclough Lane
Offerton Hall
Sir William Hill Road
Highcliffe lane
Lydgate / Mill Lane
Black Harry Lane
Monsal lane
Bulltor Lane
Broadway Lane
Monksdale Lane
Pennine Bridleway
Water Lane
Hucklow Moor
New Lane
Moss Rake
Green Dale
Broad Low
School lane
Brough Lane
Pindale
Dirtlow Rake
Limestone Way

maybe but might be idea to take a run out first just to get use to some of the lanes and how the truck copes as some can be a bit tricky and when that white stuff is down it never looks the same and some suprises can be lurking beneath

Yeah lol, these Sunny days out are lovely, but I have spent the whole week finding and cleaning dust from inside the car rofl, even the air vents covered me every time I turned them on for two days, at least mud stay outside.......normally :sly

mud  i'd get my nice shiny sills dirty :augie :lol :lol

I like that idea. Snow/ice would be fun!

snow and ice can be fun and it can certainly get the blood pumping

but i would advice that you know the lanes you are are going down as the lanes become very slipery and can cause some significant damage as a few of my mates found out just comming out of a carpark

so i would say that it is advisable not to use the daily driver if this is the first time on the lane

i can organise a weekend away and see if we can get a small private pay and play site for one of the days called biggin quarry

<iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/IFSHA41cWtM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

it is just a small site and i was due to go on the 3rd but i wasnt able to make it

Would not start at houndkirk as too much road miles to next lane ,start at leeside clough in Bamford and meet at the station.

so which route would u suggest if starting at ?bamford stn
like i say dont fancy mill lane that was scratchy

there is something to be said for our classic start at bamford station as easy parking
whilst waiting for others to arrive, its a land mark, then can do hurstclough and leeside
or vice versa.

houndkirk has a good area at west end to park up for a bite to eat with a view!

classic continues via a run up thru castleton, passing toilets in hope then up the
stunning winnats pass to work round to dirtlow and pindale.

can any one else see this route ?
