Not correct, you are definitely legally entitled to drive around anything that physically impedes your progress on the actual ROW, you just have to do so carefully and causing the minimum of damage..:thumb2
When alls said and done its a Right of Way and nothing/nobody can lawfully impede that.
this is what has happened on chappelgate and it is now closed due to the deviation of the track for repairs and it is going into talks to see if it will be removed
their is one in Huddersfield that has been blocked by a farmer with a great big boulder and we are not aloud to remove it and the council havnt done anything about it yet for the past 2 yrs
