well another pump and set ov injectors got 75% fitted finish rest off in the morning then hopefully turn the key and she will fire up !!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
all done back on road and reset airbag light woo hoo !!!!!!!!!!!!:thumb2still think injector 1 may need replacing eventully i do have spare set ov injectors but none have the sensor on

yes u was just 1 more question how does no1 injector work i have zexel pump and my injector is not 1 u can test with multmeter

Ah that's been on recently, try a search. Possibly Clivy was on about it:rolleyes:
I just changed mine and it seems better:thumbs
 
yup, i think someone else has said this in another post, the sensor affects timing of injection for that and each injector, so if the sensor is faulty, the timing is out so its bad running, poor acceleration if any, poor fuel consumption blah blah, you get my drift! its a typical sensor problem, unplug it and you get ECU fail safe which at this trucks age, wont be adequate considering the wear on other parts, so id get it replaced unless your really happy thats it going to be ok.
 
i seem to remember vaguely , someone mentioning a thing called a needle lift sensor associated with number 1 injector ... but then im a idiot , so might be wrong :D
