Hmm, this is a priority for me, but a set is £88 ffs

Doing mine now, not sure the price of new one yet cos the shop is closed.

Got a reading of 1.2 oms on 1,2,and 4 and 311.5 on the 3rd one so im guess thats foo barred.

May as well do them all then its done.

I'm thinking of doing this too, there seems to be too many glows plugs on eBay;

There are the pricey (but probably top of the range) NGK ONES.
THESE LUCAS ONES - mid-range price wise.
THESE 'RACEPARTS' ONES - cheapest yet, but I'm guessing I might as well chuck my cash on the BBQ?

What brand does everyone else fit?
I read somewhere (might of been here) that steel/metal glow plugs are better than ceramic as there is no chance of the steel fracturing/chipping and therefore should last longer, is this true or a load of nonsense?

I fitted NGK glow pugs at £86.00 , when I removed my old original ones which had done 138,000 they were NGK! So I think they are top quality and you get what you pay for! Fitted metal ones also.
