a reply if i may
everyone is entitled to a view and a opinion and i totally respect that .
my choice is vehicle is slightly limited as it has to be big enough to accomodate a large electric wheelchair , a normal estate car type thing is too low for me to get in and out of easily , another factor is the level of the rear floor ..a boot lip is no good at all for rolling the chair in and out of , the mistral was ideal and within my budget .
the motobility cars i have been offered are fiesta/focus size vehicles , and without a substantial deposit those are all i can have .
with regards to the caravan ... i do not own the caravan , it is owned by members of mine and sheilas family .... we have to contribute ( as we should )
my radio re tune cost £10 plus postage ( £8.24 )
i did not ask for financial help .. i asked for physical help although i am extremely gratefull to bat 21 for helping me .
as for my ability and safety to drive ..... i would not even consider driving with my grandkids in the car if i didnt feel safe ..... although accidents can happen to anyone at anytime .
plus my 2 consultants have both said im ok to drive , as have swansea after recieving a medical report from them , my only restrictions are i am not allowed to drive a 7500 kg truck.
both me and sheila have offered rick, mags, swifty our gratitude by means of a personal gift.
at no point have i ever declined to contribute to the fund or associated expenses and i have made a contribution myself ,i am quite happy to pay for the engines return
i fully respect your opinion my friend .
kind regards
pete ( briggie )
