Not got a photo myself but Ian has, water was deep enough that no one attempted it and we went nack the way we came, and we had some fairly serious trucks with us as Dadba can attest. Snorkels, lifts, 35" tyres, in fact the discos there were probably the most standard. Even the frontera had a 3" body lift and a spring lift with a snorkel.

makes ya want to go and play..... not been out at all this year so far, just been one of them years

BTW me and uthers had incar video oing up the pass, will sort that out and get it hosted somewhere.

Just apply to the LDNP - details are HERE

There are a number of criteria you have to meet, group size, wheelbase, mud tyres, suitable 4x4 (no soft roaders).

I suspect all this years passes will be taken by now. They set 10 dates a year and allow 12 4x4s on each day.

HB do you have to be running MT's to be able to do the pass :?

Its not totally plain in the rules but I'd say yes you do really especially its wet like yesterday, I'd also say a T2 would need a lift, theres some big rocks to get over. The standad disco ws banging a bit apparently and they've got more clearance as standard

Well the lift bit won't be a prob by next year as i'll have a set of your springs on  Thinking of fitting a set of kumho KL71 tyres onto my T2 in either 31" or poss 32" & have been told they are very good on the road for a MT & are very good on rocks which would be helpfull on the pass
