Lazy ferret and Alex, thanks for that not noticed it but will check next time, regards Rick

Sorry Jim you have lost me completely? Rick

Hi Rick, I'm sure I've seen listings with a sub heading along the lines of listing description amended. So in theory you could say that you been asked what colour is it and the answer is grey. I've never sold anything through Ebay so wouldn't have a clue.

Hope that's a bit clearer Rick

The picture I posted is the top link/"A" frame that belongs with that winch. The pic Rick posted appears to be part of a bent gazebo frame. Harry Ferguson is probably turning in his grave!

I'm a farmer Barrbeast, I've got lots of tractors. There is an old grey Fergie, a couple of 35's, IH 434's, 276, then up to the 574, 684. After that we have a Same 90, did have another but it had a bit of a mishap.
There's a big 6 cylinder Same here somewhere too.
My daily steed is the MF35. Did about 50 acres with the Vicon this week.

Just had a look at your ad Rick, looks good mate and you already have a bid too.
:thumb2

Sorry mate, it is just I am not into this stuff, had a punter ring me to do an off Ebay deal and he has a couple of these winches already and said the A frame is not important, it was just that on another sale a post was sent that seemed to make it mandatory for the A frame, but seems not the case, do not want to upset Harry, Rick

ef me it is up at over £400 with 5 days to go wtf I thought it was a load of scrap :doh, Rick

Just shows, lots of the old tractor implements go for crazy money.

Make sure you accept cash on collection mate

got 93 watchers is that good or bad? not sold much on Ebay before, Rick

I have just got a parts manual for the winch, and indeed your frame is shown, what I could not understand was how your bracket on its own stopped strain on the bottom links and hydraulics, but a guy who has one of these has explained that the normal top link is also used going to the bottom lugs on the winch, this makes the whole A frame I was seeking, do you think you could do me a drawing with dimensions, and I will make one, Rick

ooooooh I am starting to get excited now 102 watchers and a guy has contacted me from Lisbon ffs, cant wait till Friday pm, and all for something that I was going to weigh in, I got a Linner saw bench single cyl Lister 24 inch tipped blade weighs a ton, solid cast wonder what that will fetch? Rick

sorry forgot to post, it made £751 so not bad for an item I really did not value highly, and guy is picking it up, Rick

That's great to hear Rick :thumb2

Glad I posted the pics of the tractor before you scrapped it

yep think it is the most successful item I have ever sold, got a Linner /Lister powered 24 inch saw bench, will have to pull that out and have a look at it also some place I remember seeing a fuel tank for an old tractor with a hole in it for the steering wheel, just cannot find it yet, Rick
