This enquiry is based on the 2.7TDi with Bosch fuel pump.

The reason I ask this is that my connectors are all loose, someone had previously removed the securing clips for them and they're dangling.

The black muti pin barrel connector at the left hand side of the engine for the fuel pump that sits above the inlet manifold along with the rest of them, when it's secured in its clip can it only be clipped in in one position, or can it be clipped in in a number of positions?

If it can only be clipped in in one position, I need to know which pin sits at the top when it is clipped in to position (there are pin numbers stamped inside the connector when you unscrew it).

Thanks in advance!

This connector.

What I need people to do is simply unscrew the barrel and it pulls apart, then shine a torch in and tell me what pin number is at dead top!

Mine is dangling loose so i'm peeing in to a proverbial hurricane with the wiring since every single wire is black!

Lol, thanks for that.

If another couple of people could take a quick look i'd be tremendously grateful.

I'm just worried that it might clip in to it's seat in a number of positions, so if you could see whether that's the case or wether it's 'keyed', that'd be a really useful piece of info too.

Thanks!

It should only go 1way and top pin is no.1 hope that helps

Fantastic, thankyou very much for taking the time to look!

If anyone else reads this and checks for a double confirmation, I still have no idea what all of these brackets for the connectors look like! A picture would be really helpful.

I've looked on the Nissan FAST parts system and I can see some brackets but have no idea if they're the ones I need as I don't know what shape they are or where they bolt up to! Not even Nissan could find them on the parts system when I asked before.

Cheers
