Hi guys,just a couple questions
Q1 does anyone run there terrano on diesel and petrol mix (more diesel than petrol) . Pumped out a customer s full tank of fuel after he filled it with the wrong fuel. So have some fuel going spare thought I mite try it in the terrano .
Q2 I have noticed one of the guys on the Facebook page is running a maf amp . Would my terrano benefit from running one and How do I go about getting one ?
My maf sensor is hitachi

As always thanks for your help cheers rich .

What's the members name?

It's not Alex is it? :lol

Ooh arr I'm here :naughty

Yes in th colder months I have been known to add some petrol to the fuel mix, something like 20 litres of diesel and 3/4 litres of petrol, not too much

It also helps thin out veggie oil too, but one summers coming it won't really be such an issue :thumb2

Maf amp is a great bit of kit, been off for ages in mine now since the remap...

Ray or solarman will be the chaps to speak too :thumb2

richbids, just treat the mixed fuel as all petrol and use at 10%

I thought petrol in diesel wrecked the fuel pump because it robbed the pump of lubrication :nenau

paraffin is better than petrol, but expensive, petrol does indeed kill lube properties, but if you are running veggie then it is thick enough to take a bit of thinning with petrol/paraffin, but do not mix petrol with derv, deffo not good, Rick

So as for the original question from Richbids, the answer is no, don't use petrol and diesel mix.
