I was stairin at me lovely motor and noticed the bulkhead injector looked wet:eek:
the leak off pipe thingys are rubber an think are the probable cause.
so im going to replace them.
is it and easy job? will the fuel system need bleeding? and will silicone tubing do the job or does it have to be proper fuel line?

ive just got waz the inter cooler off I may fit cooler washerjet bottle at same time and swap fuel lines?
I was sniffing the wetness:augie but it didn't smell of fuel as im on veg oil:D

silicon is no good, fuel grade pipe not dear and easy to do, Rick

Just did mine for the same problem. Easy job - Intercooler off and hoses are push fit. Rubber hoses get hard over time and split. Bought a kit with hoses and blanking plug - about a fiver at local motor factors. Leak fixed - 30 mins tops. No bleeding required. :thumb2

Replace any clips?

Seems no one is doing this, I know rick said it is non pressurised, just makes me nervous as to why the clips are there, maybe it's the same as their curly clutch bleed hose :lol

No clips, all push on

I did mine i a car park. Dead simple

I will do that at the weekend:thumbs I may firt me intercooler mist jets at the same time:D

I replaced my clips . because I kept splitting the blanking plug nearly every month . so I brought some fuel line spring clips and made my own blanking plug and put the clips on them all and never had a problem since

I went to get some fuel pipe yesterday but there was a vast array of sizes:nenau
whats the internal size I need to replace these pipes please:bow

I would have thought it should all be the same I D on the fuel system but best to check first.
I have got a load of fuel hose at home.i will have a look at what that is.

its one of them jobs I didn't want to start till I got the stuff.
I didn't want take the intercooler off just to check the size to have to put it back on to go fetch the right size.
looks like that's what im going to do:eek:
