mp,s are saying dont panic just top up your tanks when neccesery ! ive just been to my local tesco,s & after waiting 25mins in the que i finally saw the pumps :doh some of my local garages are now cashing in on the act by pushing up the prices my local now £1.48.9 litre

Just been and filled up :p Just like I do every time the tank is empty. Queues a mile long, people fighting for position at the pumps, old ladies arguing with boy racers because they were in the wrong queue ("your filler's on the other side !!!!") people filling up every receptacle they have with fuel, it's like a scene out of Mad Max ! I'll be parking my Peugeot with the filler cap up against the wall tonight. And the lawnmower.
Also their price has gone up by a penny since yesterday !

wouldnt worry about putting filler cap near a wall if they want your fuel they will just go under it and slash your lines it happened to , my daughter luckly they hit the fuel line first and not her brakes

Your going to see a lot of this now, I mean, why pay for it when you can steal it:(

I'm of for this fuel strike, I've got a horse and no one has ever nicked his fuel :thumb2

that would be so funny! expecially if they put it in a petrol!

and plank I have one of those 2 so i'm sorted :D might b a struggle back from the shops tho he doesn't like poly bags!

no need to panic, they need to give 7 days before a strike and no date is given yet??

Exactly. I've got four cars, two with full tanks, two with well over a half. By the time a strike actually happens, I'll probably have got through that lot. Am I going to nip out for fuel every five minutes to make sure every car is brimming the whole time? No, because I'm not fuggin' stupid. Sadly, it would seem that an awful lot of people are (though more in towns than out here in the sticks I must admit).

even worse in a more expensive diesel as my tank is full with 100% veg oil:D:D:D

I'm going to get a small stash of rapeseed, while the price is right :thumb2 Can't loose really as I will use it whether we have a strike or not and save over 40p a litre :thumb2

Our problem is the town idiots are now coming out and blocking our roads up:doh:doh

I,ve got 200 litres of home brewed B100 in the garage. I will be saving it in case there is a strike in two weeks.

I'm thinking of putting a sign up "Beat the queues, Diesel only £2.99 litre!"

(Of course they would have to have it pumped into a jerry can for legal reasons lol!)

Hi Plank where did you get your rrapeseed oil? I bought mine today at Asda but I had to pay £1.33 litre

Brian. Oil was from Bookesrs Cash and carry
TTT2. I agree my yungest two are looking froward to seeing nan and grandad in Wales hence my rapeseed stash
