I have the zexel pump and was running on 50/50 sunflower oil in the summer and then on Asda veggi oil when they changed the cooking oil discounts( 83p/l) The sunflower oil did not like the cold weather and the car was very lumpy when cold. I use mainly Asda fuel and put in some two stroke oil. 31 on a long run 26/28 around town and 24 mpg towing the caravan.

I rarely drive over 65mph. Dont for get the useful fuel calculator

regards bri...

the fuel gauge isnt linear so you must fill to the brim. IE right to the ruddy top, just wetting the rim  :lol of your filler:augie

:thumbs :clap

I fill till its to the top & go by my GPS :thumbs

Costs me about £60's to fill up

Takes about 65 litres to fill to the brim

Does 315 from full to fuel light coming on

I ignore the fuel gauge & go purely by GPS milage :thumbs

( I haven't worked it out but its got to average 25 miles to the gallon )

OOPH gordon bennet that's a stinker
Mistral will be kilometers on the gauge and should be MPH on speedo. So that's a proper miserable 70 miles ish:augie
You need to fill it up again to get the accurate result but er have you got a hole in the tank or has some scallywag nicked your go juice?:lol
What ever it is there's one hell of a fault there somewhere:bow

ooo ooo just want to add, that was with the roof rack on :D

as a idea on the mpg you should be getting from your mistral ..... i regularly go to norfolk , a distance of 213 miles from here .. it costs me £40 in fuel based on the fact i use half a tank of fuel .... i realise its not a exact measurement , but its a idea , so based on that , i get around 400 miles from a full tank ... ( 80 litres ) ...... i suspect my friend you have quite a serious problem , either you have a serious fuel leak or summat else ..... solarman 216 is the man to ask :thumb2
