just running on City Diesel at the moment get about 105 miles out of £20 will be changing to Bio Diesel soon as i find somewhere close that sells it, not sure what fuel pump i have

i was using bio from stock/Chelmsford, Bosch pump, never had a problem adz. :thumb2

I allways keep mine well serviced, it has done around 83k a swb t2 commercial tdi, I use the cheapest supermarket diesel i can and nothing else. I do a mixture of country lanes and towns often towing (up to 2.6 tonnes) and often over fields overall my MPG is approx 27

i use tesco diesel and nowt else seems i get about 120 miles for £20 driving town and motorway
drove from rick's and swifty's on a tank of fuel and i still had 1/4 left after 320 miles or so towing a trailer tent

i dont know what fuel pump i have or where to find it so i cant tell you the make.

i tried 10 litres of veg and the truck strugled to turn over when cold, it was a week mix..

unsure of mpg but i definatly get more mpg from shell diesel than morrisions. possibly even sounds to run better..

Running on standard diesel here in Spain, either Shell or Repsol, getting about 320-340 miles to a tank, that's about 60% off-road mountain tracks and 40% town & autovia (motorway) driving. Just tried Elf Ultima diesel (€116 a litre instead of €112 for normal), engine seems quieter and not such a big cloud of black smoke on start-up.

currently running on 50% free diesel and Lidl's frying oil. Veg oil can cause long term running problems, ie. fuel pump failure. Because it doesn't lubricate stuff.

i get about 24/25 around town , but around 28/30 on a run to norfolk ( or ricks )

I run my 4.2D auto Trol on Tesco city D ( only use tesco to get club card points ) I reckon when I drove it back from Newport to Teesside I got 28-30mpg.. I think my last laning trip of 80ish miles cost about £25 of Diesel dosen't sound very economical at about 15mpg.. but £25 for a day out with wifey and two friends is great value!!
I'm just looking for a supply of WVO to make my own Bio then the Troll will be drinking that!
Only mods sofar BFG Muds..removed primary airfilter from near the front wing an fitted a temporary snorkel!.. Just waiting for a winch now..
Trol has 220,000Kms on the clock Starts up a dream and never seen any smoke at all..Yet!!

Well

After my recent experience :doh

I'm now going to run on Diesel & Bio Diesel
No additive's
No modification's
Zexel fuel pump
Doing oil & filter plus fuel filter every 3 month's

Running bio 82p a liter all smashing. Zexel pump, Tunit fuel chip , truck goes like stink BUT I reckon about 25 mpg tops :naughty
Ran SVO while tesco was selling it at 55p a liter and even in the bleak mid winter I had no probs, except a bit lumpy on start in the coldest times:doh
No heater but did change the filter when I started using bio
Next job is to stick the ruddy LPG up it :naughty

Well at the moment I'm getting diesel off me boss for 99p a litre until I've got the old girl running bang on :augie

Hi all,

I've been runnin 97 terrano on 50% ktc cooking oil and 50% diesel summer and winter for 4yrs or more with no ill effects and no loss of mpg,I get about 30ish runnin solo and about 22ish pullin the van.
The 2003 terrano I am runnin on 100% diesel ( white ) lol.
