That's making back breaking work look easy peasy!

And finally, a test if it all works.

It can lift just shy of 250kg which is not to bad for the little JCB. That is roughly 16 concrete blocks and makes it a lot easier to get them from the trailer to where I need them.

It will not win a beauty contest but it works for me and that is what matters.

Since this photo was taken it has been modified so that the rubber doesn’t bend as much.

Next modification is to try and make it rotating, even if only by 90 degrees.

Impressive I can still remember the hard labour when we moved some 600 of the large 17" x 8" hollow double concrete breeze blocks from the front driveway to the back of our house it was back braking especially as Wendy & I had both been at work that day!

A machine like that would have been brilliant.

Thats why I bought it Macabethiel! The missus has a sensitive back so I any heavy or repetitive lifting and she will pay the price for a few days. Hence, I end up doing most things by myself and any help I can get is welcome.

That is also why I end up building attachments to make my life easier. And of course, I like some backyard engineering. Doesn’t have to be beautiful as long as it is functional.
