In complete idiot terms can somebody body that knows what there talking about please explain the difference & pros / cons of both MANUAL & AUTO Hubs...
All the Pay'n'Play chaps I know all say MANUAL Hubs are $HIT & to stick to AUTO Hubs...
The reason I'm posting this is firstly on Lynn's Vitara one hub is operating ok & the other is stuck on Un-Lock.
So there for it is only a 2WD or 3WD :nenau
Secondly I'm looking at getting another non inter cooled terrano & the one I'm looking at has non functioning hubs.
I can get manual hubs brand new cheaper than auto hubs & was curious to know if you leave them in the locked position do the affect the drive in 2WD mode Will they then only lock when 4WD is selected Making them in theory auto
I'm happy to look the idiot if i then understand them & how the work in conjunction with the transfer box. As others will get knowledge from this post I hope
