Anyone else seem to be going through them like sweeties? :nenau

I fitted a pair a month ago for the MOT & the damn things failed due to the gaiters splitting. Nothing wrong with the ball-joints or rubbers, just the gaiters...............

At a tenner a side I'm considering just hauling the ARB off altogether & dealing with the truck handling like a barge :banghead:

Someone on here mates a heavy duty version. Well worth the money.

Some people put large washers on to help too.

I always keep old bits for a while, like old top ball joints, rear wheel cylinders, drop links, so if I damage a rubber boot or find one spilt, I can always cannibalise the old one for bits. Also got a spare bleed screw or two lol.

Some drop links sold for the Terrano don't have the correct offset, and when fitted are misaligned, thus putting a strain on the rubber boot.
So I wonder if this was the problem.
Most drop links have an average life of around 3-5 years, and that's just for mostly road use... it's those damn speed humps that does it lol.

Rustic, I live on a farm & also take my truck shooting, so they get a bit of a work out for sure. Anyone need any of the drop link washers? I have plenty :lol:lol

Think ot was BigBunny that made himself some heavy duty drop links with rose joints. Dunno if he made more to sell or not but you could drop him a pm as he may be able to help source the bits.
