Not because of who he is either race, religion or background.

Whatever his beliefs what he did was rude, intolerant and disrespectful to a whole range of people. That gives me enough to dislike him. Then seeing his smug unrepentant attitude gives me the right to hate him

Unfortunately a lot of valid discussions in this case re his behaviour get diverted by strong and potentially inflammatory comments on other aspects of the person under discussion. On this occasion moslems/immigrants in general.

Your own statement makes the argument.

What youve done there is make a statement of perceived fact, not state an opinion. Theres no doubt what you have said is accepted as correct. I think most people from religious fanatics to medieval scholars would find it in them to agree. Do it another way and its often ill evidenced because it is just opinion. Very murky area that barristers have made livings out of but its there :D

However bearing in mind this is a truck forum (yes i know im as political as anyone and love a good argument) I could see the way that thread was POTENTIALLY heading, thats why i kept out of it. Prevention is always better than cure even if a few bods feel hard done by.

I understand the owner of the forum is also responsible for material published even if its not their own opinion and posted by a 3rd party.:thumb2 ironically that was tested out on a home office site during previous reform debate and some of us got a subtle warning :D

I sat opposite an Indian lady on the train today, she shut her eyes and appeared to have stopped breathing.
I thought she was dead until I saw the red spot on her forehead, and realised she was just on standby.

I got a right beating last night by a 6ft 7in black bloke.
All I said was, "Golly you're tall."

Years ago it was suggested that, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away."
But since all the doctors are now Muslim, I've found that a bacon sandwich works a treat!

Did you hear about the fat, alcoholic transvestite? All he wanted to do was eat, drink and be Mary.

I got an e-mail today from a bored local housewife, 43, who was looking for some hot action! So I sent her my ironing. That'll keep the lazy woman busy.

My mate just hired an Eastern European cleaner, took her 5 hours to Hoover the house.
Turns out she was a S-l-o-v-a-k.

I've been charged with murder for killing a man with sandpaper. To be honest I only intended to rough him up a bit.

A lad came home from school and excitedly told his dad that he had a part in the school play and he was playing a man who had been married for 25 years.
The dad said, "Never mind son, maybe next year you'll get a speaking part."

I just had my water bill of £175 drop on my mat. That's a lot. Oxfam can supply a whole African village for just £2 a month. It's time to change supplier I think.

And saving the best till last..
Paddy says to Mick, “T’be sure you have an empty milk bottle in your fridge?”
To which Mick responds “Ahhh that’s for them as wants black coffee you dozy

jace my friend .... a observation if i may ( my final comment on this thread incidently ) ..... if my post was deemed to be offensive and had been deleted or the thread locked , i would have accepted that , to confront mods /administrators continually about their actions is unfortunately only going to have one outcome .

besides the point those jokes a racist very racist,i couldnt give a monkeys though,but when people post a link to the admin warning i just had to larf lol, it seems my posts are being singled out for moderation and far worse oferings from others arent even given consideration,seems very unfair this way every gets to see my point as pm mod in question isnt going to get him to reverse his orignal decision is he! i feel like the victim of a bully!
 
Well my two pennyworth for what it is worth, I will say what I want when I want and to who I want, we live in a country of free speech, like it or not, I am not racist in any way but if a statement of mine is taken out of context and then deemed racist then tough, prove it was an intentional racist remark/statement, I really do not give a damn about todays so called equality CRAP, for that in the main is what it is, and most as far as I can see is due to the overbearing EU bastards trying to tell us what to do, well you do what you do, me, I do my own thing and always will, and will have nothing to do with Brussels, I could go on but, I have other things to do, Rick

no i shant be deleting anyone of facebook but on here i deffinatley feel bullyed/singled out and have posted stuff from jokes section to prove so! the stuff i posted deffinatley is racist/sexist/homaphobic/deflamortry to irish people but no ones been bothered by it reason NOT POSTED BY ME!
if everything none 4x4 was removed there wouldnt be much left,the site would be a fault finding guide!

If we mis behave or P155 peoples off we get kicked out (Deported/shot so as not to P!55 other paying members off!) - Taken

I think the Moderators should be elected to Government and be allowed to enforce their policies nation wide without fear of critisism from the rest of the paying members:augie

I thought this was the virtual pub so within reason we could have a little rant just like we do in the pub with our mates or am I missing something.

As for moderating on the basis that "I could see where it was going ?"

With skills like that you could be winning £1.4 Million with a £2 bet
