johns place is high up and we wont get flooded out !!!!

it looks a really nice place , andy

The fuel is a bit cheaper over here but if you can go to the supermarket brands such as Carrefour,Leclerc,Intermarche,SuperU as they are on average 20 cents a litre cheaper than normal motorway/service station prices, the one exception being Elf who are around the same as the supermarkets:thumb2

one thing that's not easy to get here, not impossible. that I love is the multi packs of fresh little quail.mmmmm

fantastic news , so glad your coming:thumb2

its going to be a great week,

have picked a sailing yet ?

we will be going on the 28th from here and staying in Exeter a couple of days to catch up with me bro. ive not been for a good while.
I am hoping to book the same crossing as you judd:D
I will be booking on sunday after I have topped me bank account up.

so we can perhaps catch up with you in Plymouth, maybe have an evening meal before we do the crossing and drive down to johns place together:thumbs

we have been bashing our brains with French cds between jobs today.very basic but the French do appreciate it...

have you been to france before lads?

there are a few basic things required by law when traveling.
you must carry...
a high vis jacket for every car member.
a warning triangle.
a full set of bulbs to suit your car.
a full and unused first aid kit
and since I went last time I think they introduced all drivers need to carry a breathaliser?
not sure if that's it. john?

this is the biggest con going !

To quote directly from the France 24 story:

"It has emerged that the chief of the road safety group that persuaded Nicolas Sarkozy’s government to adopt the ruling is also a senior executive with the leading manufacturer of the blow-in-the-bag test kits.
Contralco, one of only two companies who produce a test-kit of the required standard, was reportedly in financial difficulties until the law was approved. But since then it has taken on over 100 staff, thanks in no small part to a demand for five million test kits a month.

hi steve,
that would be great if can we meet up and catch the same boat,
it will give us a chance to get to know each other , we can start the holiday then, :thumb2

I may have missed summat some where, but are you travelling alone or with a partner?
I think we should probably just exchange more details via private phone numbers
and make everyone else on here jealous when we post all the lovelly pics up:thumbs

I say surely, you need 3 breathalisers no? As they require you have two, once you get tested you no longer have 2 anymore... What happens if you get stopped again before you recouped your second.. :nenau

English law breaker! Life in prison :thumbs
