Fog light,headlight help

Have a problem when swtiching my rear fog light on it keeps blowing the fuse after about 2 seconds which puts the driver side headlight out. Any ideas what can be causing this??

Sounds like it may be going to earth somewhere. check the fitting or see if a wire has rubbed through behind the light fittings

Yes ....Take out the rear light units and have a look at the wires, they tend to rub agianst the metalwork, the pvc wears through and the wire shorts to chassis blowing the fuse.

This is also a good opportunity to spray down into the box section - with a torch you can almost see all the way down to the front :thumbs

All sorted as you guys said Earth wire catching on metal work.
