Yesterday going to work had A slight cough then fine :nenau later in day changing gear then dead no moter let foot of came back happened couple of times , Day off today so arranged to go into garage started fine changed to second died didnt come back tuned key fine then same again revved it up found if kept over 2000 rpm would stay running change gear fine try driving in built up area at over 2k now in garage & nicked missus's corsa

garage says no fault codes coming up any one got any ideas

fuel filter, MAF perhaps, egr if you have one? sounds like something might be blocked, driving over 2k rpm appears to be forcing whatever isnt functioning correctly, to function. I would check the MAF, fuel filter, air filter and CKP sensor as well...to begin with, sounds like some sort of starvation...

last time i had simular prob like that was when the engine was cold, it was the fuel return valve sticking x trail 2.2 dci

Thanks for the replies will pass them on to the garage in morning :thumb2 had to happen just as have got three days working 9 til 9 done first today only two to go just thought wonder if garage used non nissan fuel filter had it changed 2 weeks ago :doh

have changed air filter for k&n washable panel + cleaned maf last month all can think is garage has gone against my request for them to use nissan fuel filter

I use unipart fuel filters no problems what so ever Roy

I use the farmers co-op filters £3 a go and no probs

wouldnt life be so simple but not with this shed every time tried cheap filters it spits them back out , but sneaked off to the garage in my lunch break to look is nissan filter also found fault :clap the engine stop valve on the pump + cant remember what he said now :doh but are approx £250 each BUT can get both 2nd hand for £80 you can guess which option am going with :augie be ready tomorrow lunch :thumbs
