Anyone got the same problem as me when i drive through a large roadside puddle, all the water comes directly up onto the windscreen,(especially passengers side) I dont mean just a bit like a splash but a lot of water, so much that you need to be quick on the wipers especially if you are driving in the dark and dont see the dam thing till its too late.

would be interesting to know if anyone else has this problem or is this just terranos, or if anyone has any quick fixes for this.
cheers :nenau

quick fix slow down..

yep i get the same, kids call them drive through car washes.

its the wheel pushing the water out the way and forward, also is pushed up, and the you drive into the splash.

front bumper beeing high and shaped to give a good aproch angle dont help.

Mine's not as bad now which I think is to do with the trucks height:sly
Also I've taken off the plastic bumper in favour of my steel winch bumper, this has a bigger space under it too:thumbs
So more of the water goes elsewhere I guess;) but not such a good solution for the vertically challenged:lol

water

mines the same the kids call it fuddles, go faster and enjoy

ps turn the wipers on first

paulp

You get quite used to it after a while! And the good news is the Terrano piles through it when lesser mortals would be in a ditch. :thumb2

it does upset the poor drives that are following... ( normaly to close too ) they get a screen full too!!

LOL

If you look at some other 4x4s they have a small mud flap behind the front bumper presumably to stop this ?kia sorento, disposed of my mistral before trying fitting some.
