Not that I know jack, but as said, jack up and the torsion bars need moving round to get the rough height and enough 'bolt' to give you enough adjustment to fine tune...
 
Last pic shows theres clearly plenty of thread left on the bolt at the top??

Something isn't quite right with the setup.
 
Are you turning it right? Doing the bolt up, not undoing?

well spotted fez, i didn't look at the pics i was wearing beer goggles :lol

yes deffo plenty of thread left on there to turn them more
 
As said you've got load of thread left:thumb2 mine has a good 3" or so thread above the 2 nuts on the top & that's for factory height so think you may have been adjusting them the wrong way & lowered the front by mistake
 
I'm getting more heightso I must be going the right way (twisting inwards towards engine) but now I end up if I twist anymore I can't get the nuts on the bolt.

I am right in thinking tho that the higher the truck sits the lower those bits hangs out of the torsion bar xmember
 
As I understand it, the more thread you have showing the higher the setting. Jack vehicle up so that wheel(s) are off the ground, undo the top nut, hold the lower nut and wind in (do up clockwise) the bolt from below...
 
your not doing it right, more thread ontop = more lift. and they should nit hang down like that at all

no they go further into the x member this is what tightens the torsion bar up and gives the lift

No it's the other way around the bits under the X member go up & are hidden by the X member. Tighten the bolt head clockwise which is under the X member & hold a spanner on the lower lock nut on the top & you'll gain the lift:thumbs
 
I know it's only for a instruction video but you'd obviously use axle stands. Wouldn't matter what the ride height is when you've a squashed bonce. :eek:

I adjusted mine from underneath without jacking up the vehicle, but always worth putting axle stands underneath, you never know if or when a torsion bar could shear, or the thread on the adjuster strip.

The assembly you have looks right with the torsion bars slackened off, with the vehicle being low to the ground.
As said tighten the nuts on the top, so that say 75 mm of thread sticks out of the top, then you will be getting close to the right position as a starting point.
This depends where you started with the position of the adjusting arm on the splines of the torsion bar, using a different spline is called re-indexing for those looking, not understanding what this means.
