I removed my passagers seat the other day and had to unplug the air bag for the seat. Since doing this the air bag warning light has flashed. Does anyone know how to reset? checked all the cables and all OK.

Cheers

Right just found out how to do it after searching for a long time. Who do I need to send the info to, to place in the workshop area? Got PDF.:thumbs:thumbs:thumbs

Flashing Lights

Now thats a coincidence, I got in my 2004 3.0Tdi today and after the seven second test the air bag light continues to flash.

According to the owners manual it is a problem with the seat belt restraint. Any help please?

Check that there is no damage to the wiring under the seat. Damage can occur with the seat moving backwards and forwards.

May be knocked it when hovering under the seats or something pushed under the seat has knocked the wires.

As I said mine came on because I removed a seat and unplugged the air bag.

If you PM me your email I will send over the PDF on turning it off and reading the fault code.

Air Bag Flashing Light

Hey thanks for the quick response, the first time I noticed the light was after sliding the seat back for cleaning.

I have sent PM as requested.

Cheers
