Flashers working one minute then stop for about 20 seconds then come back on for about 5 flashes then stop.
Could the flasher unit or the relay be about to pack in,

I have turned the Flashers on and pressed the relays below the fuses and it works for about 4 flashes every time I press then stops.

Any ideas guys

John

Could you try finding the earth on the relay and then running a wire between that terminal and the car body just in case it is an earthing problem.

Does sound like the relay, pity you can't swop with someone.

Or
If it's only one side it could be a bulb on that side.
If it is both sides then could be a faulty relay or connection.
Also check the fuse.
Do you have a towbar socket? Could be a fault in the wiring on this, also there is sometimes a buzzer that could have shorted or have a bad connection.
Do the hazards work ok? They are usually on a seperate circuit, may help to diagnose where the problem could be.

Some ideas to consider, hope it helps.
best regards,
Rustic
