i vaguly remember back in the old suzuki "ram air" days someone worked out you needed to hit about 90mph or sommat daft like that to feel the benefit! i put one of these on my maverick tdi when i had it to get the air filter higher outve the water after drowning its predecessor (mistral) in a ford at bourton on water,it sucked all the water up through that trumpet thing and locked engine i was stood in middle ford taking heater plugs out to empty cylinders!
"IF" you cant get it back in wake in a bit of pipe :thumbs
& it WILL make a difference :thumbs
The air is being forced to the filter :clap
Whats that in the top right corner next to the fuel filter? Something to do with it being auto?

realy... um ok will try it out when i get the time to dig the pipe out..
if you went through deep water wouldnt the original pipe from wing give the k+n
a good slug of water, just like the originals used to .

no idea :nenau i always thought they handled reasonable wading depth
in any case i would have thought it wouldnt be as bad as when its captive to the standard cylinder, with the K&N it would just spray around a bit and I would guess if youre in that deep it the least of your problems :nenau
already done dont wade deeper than lower part of the bumper or hubs as the intake on these are at the front
