After 6 years dithering, & getting the necessary confidence from here, I've finally taken the plunge.
The job was much simpler than I expected & I made a point of taking photos because I know how much you all love them! I tried to keep the cost down as much as I could (this may be somewhat obvious but I enjoyed the challenge).

The photos are self explanatory, but it's worth commenting that the bracket is a piece of alloy angle(ex child's buggy!), the 90deg. bends are 1"alloy pipe (ex camping chair!) & a 90deg 16mm domestic brass pipe fitting (minus the nuts & olives!) was used to connect into the intake pipe. Where necessary fittings were 'bushed-up', using suitable size rubber pipe, to give a 1" o/d. For now, a .5L bottle is dangling from the drain connection just for trials (they don't call me 'bodger' for nothing LOL).
It should be noted that the air filter housing needed 3 webs reducing to accomodate the bracket.
The most difficult thing was obtaining the 1M of 1" bore pipe.

Photo 1: webs removed from housing
2: mounting bracket
3: bracket & catch can mounted to housing
4: ditto
5: all piped-up
6: ditto
Just need to test it now.....fingers crossed!

HELP!!!!!: can't figure out how to load other 5 photos

Hi Mick

You can either attach them one by one using the same method you did with the first picture or to easily upload and embed files freely to one post you should sign up for an image hosting account such as imgbb and use the embed codes
