Faulty Ignition Switch

I think I've knackered my ignition switch up when I was programming my Remote Fob a few months ago.

When I turn the Truck over if I turn the key fully the engine begins to start and then kind of shorts out, if I semi turn it it starts but sometimes will need fiddling with back and forward before the truck will rev as it gets stuck in the off position

I've heard that this is a common fault on Mav's/Terrano's

Is it an easy fix?

yes just the electrical bit new from Nissan about £30 I am told, not worth second-hand from a scrapie as will be worn as well, Rick
