hi all,
mil light came on tonight checked codes and got 34 injector needle lift sensor
with the symptoms of lack of power, checked wiring to sensor ok so must be injector is there any other option than to replace it,
got a bosch pump so looking at least £170 for one.
when clearing codes it says bridge DLC terminals IGN & CF-CHK but which one is the CF-CHK, it only shows CHK in down loads any help would be great.
cheers eboy.

hey Eboy. i have had to do mine. did it this year in fact. same symptoms as you except mine had other issues as well so id get stalling etc.

the downloads instructions for clearing codes do work, i use them a lot. basically its the two points next to each other, as in the diagram.

as for alternatives, there arent any I'm afraid. all that will happen is it will get worse and worse over time. when I removed mine, it was black and brown! the new one will make it run like new again. it is expensive, mine cost £190 with a £10 discount (incl VAT) and thats the cheapest I could find :(

as for fitting it, do you think you can do it yourself? I did, and I can only assume saved a fortune in garage bills because it took a while, I'd expect a good garage to take at least an hour?? Extreme did his as well recently..!
