When attacking farm tracks at speed 40+ and hitting potholes and ruts am i likely to break anything ? :D

I tend to get into Paris Dakar raid mode when safe to do so, but I worry about breaking things as I think i bottomed out this afternoon on the front, seems to just eat it up though :nenau

Also jumps ? I've got some air a couple of times but she loves it :D

wouldnt recomend it really been a bit of a spoil sport but it tends to give us 4x4 a bad rep and feeds the bobble hats calls to stop us using the lanes

sorry just my opinion

On private land u numpty, as if I'd drive like this in public, besides the brakes are useless offroad and stoping distances are like 4 times what they are on road

When you say farm tracks are they open to the public ? or land you have been told you can play on.

You may brake stuff, but thats part of the fun relly, fixing it back up.

Make sure the springs and shocks are good, but in honesty thhe trucks are built to take some hammer.

Ive known the farmers for years, I have permission

ive not broken anything yet when charging round feilds (touch wood):augie, they are strong trucks:D

These trucks are great when driven fast down loose gravel and dirt tracks. I've had some awesome lock to lock sideways action, lwb is really predictable and so stable for a tall vehicle, it really is one of the best cars I've owned. I'm saying that I'm having more fun in this than I ever did burning around the roads in turbo fwd's and bmw's and capris etc.

Smitten lads :)

yep thats it! takes a bit of hanging onto when it lands and bounces all over the shop due to no arb's (i wouldnt do this to my road going terrano though!)

my old red one i built to do lanes fast, dont need to explain why, needless to say had to be sure it would get about,

steering is the week point, used to race through places hitting inclines fast, used to get air often , they will break so be aware unless you have used an idler brace or the big steering fix . you will be finding yourself without steering .

both fix kits see makeit fit. the 2nd steering box i think is the best... but then i would !:D

If it's bouncing around it's shocks not arb or lack of them
Bin your gas filled poo jobbies and go oil hydros at least.
Also if you're going for air then you must check your bump stops or you'll bend those shocks . Comp rod bushes will also depart pretty quick but you wont know till your steering goes all vague. Steering idler will bend .
Enjoy, I know I do :naughty

Is there a beefyer steering idler then ?

What parts need the beefing treatment ?

So the Monroe ones are no good then ?

Lol this is confusing

there is a much beefier steering idler . i came up with it modified a steering box to fit on passenger side . its not geared so basically a giant idler . i was looking at gearing one too but cost was an issue and other shite going on so gave it to pete to finish the project. im back now and trying to do it again only geared this time

Colin, I eventually got that LH steering box, are you in need of it? :naughty
